Introduction
Jorji’s palace is a huge residential project in Khonj, Iran. Hayat Atelier was responsible for its design, and I was honored to join their team as an interior designer for the project. The foundation of this complex has been about 18300 ft² which included spaces with different uses.
Concepts:
- Since the client of this project was a resident of Dubai, he was very interested in designing oriental and Mediterranean architectural elements in a modern way, so In the interior design, we tried to convey the feeling of Moroccan and Arabic architecture in more public spaces, but also to maintain its modernity.
- Using different recess inside the walls by creating false thickness.
- Attempts have been made to blur sensory boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces as much as possible
- Each room is designed according to its users, but we try to have the same generality.
- In this design, an attempt has been made to present the elements of indigenous architecture in a modern way.
