Introduction

The first master plan of Shiraz University was designed by Minor Yamasaki, winner of three AlA Awards, a Times Magazine figure, and one of the leading architects of the twentieth century. Yamasaki was born in Seattle to the first generation of Japanese immigrants; he studied architecture at the Universities of Washington and New York and worked in offices such as Shreve, Lamb, and Harmon (architects of the Empire State Building). He has many accomplished projects, the most famous of which are the New York World Trade Towers and the Seattle Museum.

My Responsibilities 

Now, Dr. Fattahi from Shiraz University’s staff and his team completed a 3D VR Model of the whole of Yamasaki’s Master Plan for Shiraz University has finished in Shiraz University TechLAB. After about three years of research on the project and reviewing several archives and documents from Iran, Japan, and United States, this is done. And is planned to be presented in different venues worldwide.
