Introduction

the project subject was to design a residential complex for the elderly.

Concepts

• The first idea for the design was to consider special yards for each apartment. The complex has been designed in three-level and the upper levels units use the lower-level ceiling as their yards.

• Another concept was to create interactive spaces, but the sense of safety mattered, so several zones were defined for the complex and separated; a small garden was considered for each zone where their units could interact safely.

• each zone is separate mentally with landscape elements.
